About Identity Coaching

Identity coaching works at the level beneath behaviour. Rather than focusing on goals, habits, or strategies, it examines the beliefs, patterns, and self-concept driving how you operate. Most people try to change what they do without examining who they are being. Identity coaching addresses the root system, not just the symptoms.

Life coaching typically focuses on setting and achieving goals. It works at the level of action and accountability. Identity coaching goes deeper. It asks: why do you set the goals you set? Why do you self-sabotage, over-function, or avoid? What identity are you operating from, and is it still serving you? The outcomes are often more fundamental and more lasting.

Therapy typically focuses on healing, diagnosing, and processing past experiences. It often works within a clinical framework. Coaching is forward-looking. It takes where you are now and works with the patterns, beliefs, and identity structures that are shaping how you operate. Jen's approach is trauma-informed, which means the work respects your nervous system and history, but the focus is on creating change, not on diagnosis or treatment.

Jen's approach draws on several evidence-based frameworks including neuroscience, attachment theory, nervous system regulation, and behavioural psychology. It is grounded in how humans actually operate, not in motivational theory. Jen holds a triple-accredited coaching diploma and is ICF ACC accredited, which means her practice meets internationally recognised professional standards.

Trauma-informed means the work recognises that past experiences shape current patterns, especially at the level of the nervous system. It does not mean you need to have experienced trauma to benefit. It means the coaching environment is safe, regulated, and designed to work with your system rather than override it. There is no forcing, no pushing through. The pace respects what your system can integrate.

About Working With Jen

Direct. Warm. Structured. Jen does not use scripts or formulaic frameworks. Each session is responsive to what is most alive for you. Some sessions go deep into a pattern or belief system. Others focus on a specific situation, decision, or relationship. What stays consistent is the depth. This is not surface-level conversation. Jen will see things you cannot see yourself, name them clearly, and help you work with them.

Jen works primarily with high-functioning professionals, leaders, founders, and driven individuals who are outwardly successful but privately aware that something is not aligned. Her clients are typically intelligent, self-aware, and capable. They are not in crisis. They sense that the patterns, identity, or way of operating that got them here is no longer working for where they want to go.

No. Most of Jen's clients are not in crisis. They are functioning well by most external measures. That is often part of the problem. The outside looks fine. The inside does not match. Identity coaching is not about fixing something broken. It is about redesigning how you operate so it actually fits who you are.

Yes. Many of Jen's clients work with a therapist at the same time. Therapy and coaching serve different functions. Therapy tends to focus on healing and processing. Coaching focuses on identity, patterns, and forward movement. As long as the scope is clear and there is no duplication, the two often complement each other very well.

Private 1:1 coaching packages typically run over 3 to 6 months. Some clients continue beyond that. The duration depends on the depth of work involved and what you are looking to shift. Identity-level change takes time. It is not a quick fix. It is a sustained, structured process.

Session frequency depends on the coaching package and what is appropriate for where you are in the process. Typically sessions happen every one to two weeks. This cadence allows enough time for integration between sessions while maintaining momentum.

About Getting Started

If you are reading this and something resonates, it probably is. Most of Jen's clients arrive knowing that something needs to change but not being entirely sure what. That is normal. You do not need to have your issue clearly defined before you begin. The Deep Dive Session is designed specifically to bring clarity to what is underneath and whether coaching is the right path.

The Deep Dive is a focused 75-minute session and the entry point for all new clients. It is not a free discovery call. It is a genuine, structured coaching conversation designed to identify the root patterns driving how you operate and to determine whether longer-term work is the right fit. It stands alone as a complete and valuable experience. If you choose to continue within seven days, the full session fee is credited toward your coaching package.

The first session is the Deep Dive. Jen will ask direct questions about how you operate, what patterns you notice, and where the friction is. The goal is to see clearly what is driving your current experience, not just the surface-level story but the identity, beliefs, and nervous system patterns underneath it. You will leave with genuine clarity, not a sales pitch.

Book a Deep Dive Session. This is the starting point for all new clients. You can book directly through the website. There is no application process and no waiting list.

The best way to connect is through a Deep Dive Session. For general enquiries, you can reach Jen via the contact options on the website, through LinkedIn, or via Instagram. Jen does not offer free introductory calls. Every first conversation is a paid, purposeful session.
